Meet the Artist - Georgia Gerber

Most images on this page are courtesy of Georgia Gerber.

Our artist is Georgia Gerber, a nationally recognized bronze sculptor from Whidbey Island, Washington, who is well respected for her public artworks throughout the United States. She is best known regionally for "Rachel," Seattle's Pike Place Market Pig, and for several primate sculptures at the Woodland Park Zoo. Ms. Gerber's work is accessible and approachable – usually literally! -- and has proven to be popular with children and adults alike. While life-like and realistic, her sculptures are not portraits but rather evocative representations that convey the spirit of the image and invite the viewer's imagination.
