Our Mission Washoe Bronze Statue Artist Draft

A sketch of our bronze statue on a rock.

To honor Washoe — the first non-human to acquire a human language — and recognize her invaluable contribution to human knowledge and understanding.

To raise funds for a life size bronze sculpture of Washoe and a small “pocket park” in downtown Ellensburg, Washington, U.S.A., where the statue will be displayed.
